The actuality of the research topic. Global economy is an extremely complex combination including all the countries of the world. Certainly, there are different relations between the countries, the economic relations between them were laid through trade. It has passed rather long and difficult way from a simple commercial transaction reaching large-scale forms of modern commerce.
The mechanisms used by the state in order to regulate foreign trade are divided into 2 large groups: tariff and non-tariff. Non-tariff limitations of foreign trade regulation are widely used in different countries too. Non-tariff regulation is performed by quantitative limitations, the secret sponsorship and financial methods. The widely spread financial methods are subsidizing, dumping, as well as the mortgage of foreign trade.
As we have already mentioned, foreign trade is an exchange of products and services between different countries connected with intensification of international division of labor in conditions of widespread internationalization of life and scientific-technological revolution. It is connected with the establishment of industrial relations both inside the country and between the countries.
Highlighting the necessity of assessment of measures of multilateral formation of foreign trade and RA membership to WTO, it should be noted that, membership in WTO can be considered profitable in terms of international realtions, non-profitable in terms of impact on economy. As RA is mainly importing country, trade liberalization gives an opportunity to population to save more measures. Free trade and growth of import volumes of products had a positive impact from point of view of GDP formation and increase of state budget revenues. Negative impacts should be noted, which are trade deficit growth and decrease of share of some industrial branches. It should be noted that the latest negotiations in WTO framework showed that developing countries revalued their membership in this organization, presenting an urgent suggestion, such as the requirement of elimination of subsidies and other trade barriers in the sphere of agriculture.
